Your local sports club will be more than happy to help you out with their hall. They offer great outdoor space, lots of parking and sometimes they are able to assist you with tables and chairs. Not all sports clubs and centers have a hall and if they do they are not very large, these are ideal for smaller parties.
Always bear in mind that you may have to pay slightly more for a hall that offers tables and chairs, but this extra price will be cheaper than renting the tables and chairs from an outside source. Ensure that you can get into the hall at least 24 hours beforehand to start decorating and that your deposit is refundable, in case of any unforeseeable changes.
Start your planning a few months in advance so that you don’t miss out on any locations that you may prefer. Go and see the hall, don’t take what you read or what is spoken about on the telephone at face value. Make sure it is exactly what was promised and that the space is big enough for your event before paying any deposit.
